Valentine's #1

Despite it being Valentine's Day, I had 6 hours of classes with no break in between. Alright so here's the thing, what does Valentine's Day mean to you? Some people brush it off, saying it's just another ordinary day. Some celebrate, the rest "celebrate" the other way round. Thing is, the more you try to ignore it the more it creeps up on you. 

Some say that with your loved one, everyday is Valentine's. What kind of bullshit is that? You don't get ripped off by fancy restaurants and their "Valentine's Special" everyday. Price of flowers don't get marked up everyday. Same goes to chocolates and other nice to see but entirely useless things. BUT HEY, you don't see this much purple, pink and red everyday do you! So.. EVERYDAY is NOT Valentine's.

(Took me 5 minutes to rant like this but when it comes to my essay assignment I stare at the page for hours and end up with nothing for the next few days.)

Anyway, Valentine's. Guys out there, do go get some flowers for a girl alright. That is a very gentleman thing to do MUST. Don't believe all that "Never mind I don't want flowers they're such a waste of money." girls tell you. EVERY GIRL LOVES FLOWERS.

Or is it just me. 

Oh and guys. Apparently, if you forget to give her flowers on Valentine's Day itself, you have to double the amount when you finally recall or come to your senses. 

I don't mean to sound so spoiled and demanding but hey, refer to paragraph 1- end.

But I guess I'm just like that when it comes to Valentine's. I like to make it a super big deal. If I were still in school I'd be Valentine's Santa Claus once again.

Here we go..

4th day of CNY, Sunday

Cousin and I got bored in hometown so we decided to go on a road trip. Our hometown is called Bukit Pelandok, pretty sure you never heard of it so in short, it's nearby Seremban and Sepang. Therefore... Melaka, here we come!

Hello, I'm your lovely driver of the day. I drive safe, no worries. *wink

See! Arrived at destination safe and sound. Took us 2 hours though because I went the wrong way T_T

It was the hottest day ever so the first thing we did was sit down for a cup of coffee. Iced, of course. This is my favorite cafe in Jonker Street!

My ice blended Perak coffee with a slice of caramel dessert.

So anyway we spent an hour or so at Jonker's and headed back to our hometown in evening. *drumroll* Guess what?

Jeng jeng jeng! Welcome to jam time on North South Highway. So there you go, another 2 hours of road trip back home.

By the way we used Google Maps to travel. Google Maps is my best friend, though 80% of the time it brings me to totally irrelevant places.

I think I got butt and leg cramps from sitting behind the wheel too long. Haha but it was better than watching tv the entire day at my hometown I suppose.

It's so hot I'm going to die.

You're probably sick of hearing this but Happy Chinese New Year once again! Pretty sure nobody's reading this right now because everyone is at their hometown suffering without internet.. or something. I'm currently at my hometown too! Using my Blackberry as my modem, the speed is killing me but oh well. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Believe it or not, while it was raining 2 days continuously in KL and places like Malacca and Johore flooded, my hometown here didn't have a single drop of rain. This desert has a name, it's Bukit Pelandok. Seriously, everytime I come back here my skin break out and I just feel lazy altogether due to the heat. All I want to do is eat and sleep.

 Since I'm so free here right, I shall go out there and get some pictures for the upcoming post. But before that, here are some pictures from one of the random yumcha sessions recently.
